Chris’s Review:

My wife and I were meeting our good friends Mario, Dana, Jerald (Foodie Counterpart) and Tamika for lunch prior to an afternoon of wine tasting at Peltzer Farm and Winery and Leoness Cellars. My wife had been to Fire-Fish Sushi & more with friends in the past and it was just off Interstate 15 at Rancho California Road so it was convenient for everyone.

I was surprised at the size of the menu it was huge and had something for everyone Salad, Sushi, Sashimi, Hand Rolls, Cut Rolls, Fish Plates, Chef Specials, Baked Rolls, No Rice Rolls, Tempura Rolls, Deep Fried Rolls, Vegetable Rolls, Dinner Entrée, Fried Rice and a Kids Menu.   Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious from the tempura vegetables Mario ordered, the Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Fried Rice my wife ordered. Jerald will review his order later in the post. I wanted to take a minute to review the Albacore Cilantro Roll I ordered. This was one of the best sushi rolls I have ever tasted. The combination of the spicy tuna with the avocado and cilantro was a perfect marriage of flavors and it was topped with super tasty albacore drizzled with ponzu sauce. I could eat it every day.

I am looking forward to my next visit to Fire Fish Sushi & More and trying other unique sushi rolls like the Freaky Friday which has spicy scallops and cucumber wrapped with soy paper with salmon and spicy sauce on the top or the Yellowtail Slam with tuna, salmon, albacore topped with yellowtail and a wasabi-soy dressing. There are just so many choices.

Cheers,

Chris

Jerald’s Review:

“As they say, there is always room for sushi. Fire Fish Sushi is a perfect place to get your sushi fix when in Temecula. Very relaxing place with a great assortment of Japanese Cuisine.

Every dine in order comes with a tasty miso soup which also serves as a great palette cleanser. Dining with friends is also a great time because you can nibble and snack on your buddies food selections without having to commit to anything.

My New York New York was a perfectly seared filet delightfully tasty!

Cheers,

Jerald
