In the first afternoon discovery session we had an opportunity to spend time with Federico Desimoni have an in-depth encounter with the original Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and learn how to recognize it, as original and protected by the EU logo. We learned that Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI can only be produced in the Italian provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia. We also learned that there are only two types of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI; Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI that is aged for over 60 days and Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI that is aged for over 3 years.

In the afternoon breakout session Get Paid for Your Posts; Gabi Logan provided a step-by-step process for finding the right companies to target, how to put together a blogging proposal at the rate that pays your bills, close the client in one call & how to do paperwork that protects you.

The first day concluded with the Expo and Taste of Sacramento where we enjoy several glasses of wine, mingle with  friends, meet new IFBC attendees, checked out this year’s goodies and takeaways. We were also able to say hello to the IFBC partners and sponsors at the pre-dinner meet & greet.
